A teenager named Mykena shared a tearful video on TikTok after a Randonautica quest. She explained she would never go Randonauting again. Mykena’s intention was “death,” and the app led her to a spot where she found a body on the ground, bleeding. It was a 23-year-old shooting victim, still alive, who was then rushed to a nearby hospital.
9 A Trap House
The YouTube channel Exploring With Josh posted a video titled “Police Came – Randonautica Took Me To A Crime Scene!” The YouTubers trespassed on private property and explored an abandoned house. The abandoned house appeared to be partially inhabited by squatters. This raises the question: when will Randonautica send someone to a house that is occupied by someone who is not quite welcoming to intruders?
8 Coffins. A Few Times.
Randonautica users have been led to inexplicable, empty coffins in the middle of nowhere. One YouTuber stumbled upon a single coffin in the woods. TikToker frozenmeals posted a video of a Randonautica trip to a detention center. One of the girls received a text from an anonymous number asking, “Are you real?” Nearby, graffiti read “REAL.” The combination of the location and the mysterious message created an unsettling experience.

The most famous scary Randonautica experience involves Seattle teenagers finding two dead bodies stuffed into a suitcase. Randonautica led the teens to a rocky shoreline. They opened the suitcase expecting money but found trash bags and a strong odor. Police confirmed the suitcase contained human remains, both homicide victims.
