Selena Avalos of San Jose, California, ordered chicken wings from Domino’s in 2016. Instead of wings, she received a box filled with nearly $5,000 in cash! Avalos suspected it was the store’s deposit and tried to contact a manager. When she didn’t get a response, she contacted ABC7 News, who helped her return the money. As a reward for her honesty, Domino’s gave her free pizza for a year, and her employer gave her a week off with pay.

Suzanne Baum’s son ordered a pair of shorts from ASOS, a popular online retailer. When the package arrived, it had a terrible smell. They discovered the shorts were covered in feces stains. The man had been there for seven days after a fall. EMTs said Holland’s timely discovery saved the man’s life.

In Apple Valley, California, in 2023, Amazon driver Charles Amicangelo was delivering a package when he fell 13 feet into a septic tank. He tried to get out but only sank further into the sludge. The attacker, Chrisantus Omondi, struck Jackson repeatedly with a piece of firewood, killing him. Omondi was arrested and charged with murder, aggravated assault, and obstruction.

Robert Jackson III, a DoorDash driver in Detroit, Michigan, found a two-year-old toddler in the street in January 2022. The child was only wearing a diaper and socks in freezing temperatures. Jackson wrapped the boy in his coat and called 911. Police located the boy’s home nearby, where his 16-year-old sibling was babysitting. The toddler was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Allison Henry of the Bronx, New York, ordered hair care products from Target in 2015. Along with her products, she received five vials of blood and a PlayStation game titled The Old Blood. Henry contacted UPS, Target, and the lab, but no one could explain the mix-up. Eyewitness News discovered the blood belonged to Kelly Mikhalik, who had shipped a Lyme disease test. The packages likely crossed paths at a sorting facility.
