Alien encounters: every celebrity has had one… or so some claim! A surprising number of Hollywood stars have supposedly been visited by extraterrestrials, and they’re not shy about sharing their stories. These celebs have opened up quite candidly about their supposed alien interactions!

10. Post Malone
Post Malone claims to have had several alien encounters throughout his life! The recording artist says he’s been around aliens since he was a kid. Once, he and his cousin saw an unexplainable light speed off into the sky. As an adult in California, he claims he saw a whole host of aliens overhead in Los Angeles’s San Fernando Valley while standing on his balcony.
Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Post Malone likened the alien cover that night to a “force field.” He said, “I used to live in Tarzana… and it looked kind of like, it sounds corny, but like a classic force field… It’s kind of like a dome in a circular shape in Tarzana, looking down at the f**king city. And I’m like, ‘How did no one else see this?’ But I was there with like f**king four other people, and they saw it too.”
9. Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato is such a big believer in aliens that she made a docuseries about finding them! She claims to have personal experiences with extraterrestrials. She told Kelly Clarkson about the time that three aliens were in her room, watching her sleep!
“So I woke up in my room, and there were three beings,” Lovato told Clarkson. “And then they were like, ‘Do you wanna see your planet?’ I was like, ‘Hell yeah! Let’s go!’ So I like whooshed out of my room and was hovering over the planet. And then all of a sudden, they’re like, ‘You wanna see our planet? And I was like, ‘Hell yeah!’ Then I wooshed to this like pink and purple planet that I’ve never seen.”
8. Nick Jonas
Unlike Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas wasn’t always a believer in aliens. But that changed when he was 14 and saw something that looked like a UFO while hanging out with friends in his backyard. His friends dismissed it, but Nick persisted, and the experience made him a true believer.
Appearing on Seth Meyers’s late-night show, Nick explained: “I am on board [with believing in the existence of aliens]. When I was 14, maybe, I was in my backyard playing basketball with some friends, and I looked up in the sky, and there was three flying saucers. Everyone was like, ‘It’s a movie set,’ and I was convinced it was real. And I looked it up online and there were three identical sightings in other states. So I’m a firm believer in aliens.”
7. Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus is an alien enthusiast who has been vocal about her UFO experiences. The most notable was when she was on tour, driving through rural California with a friend, when a UFO supposedly chased them down in their car. Speaking to Interview Magazine, Miley said: “The best way to describe it is a flying snowplow. It had this big plow in the front of it and was glowing yellow. I did see it flying, and my friend saw it, too. There were a couple of other cars on the road, and they also stopped to look, so I think what I saw was real.”
Miley continued, “I was shaken for, like, five days. It f**ked me up. I couldn’t really look at the sky the same. I thought they might come back … I didn’t feel threatened at all, actually, but I did see a being sitting in the front of the flying object. It looked at me, and we made eye contact, and I think that’s what really shook me, looking into the eyes of something that I couldn’t quite wrap my head around.”
6. Fran Drescher
Fran Drescher reportedly had an experience with aliens early in her life that supposedly led her to marry her now-former husband, Peter Marc. According to The Nanny star, she and Peter had the same exact alien experience before they’d ever met each other. Once they realized that connection, love was meant to be!
Speaking about her alien experience to the Huffington Post, Drescher said: “You know, it’s funny because Peter and I both saw [aliens] before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads. We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that, somehow, we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It’s the exact same scar on the exact same spot.”
5. Kacey Musgraves
Kacey Musgraves has always been interested in space. It all started when she was a kid, and her father bought her a telescope to look up at the sky at night. With all that stargazing, she’s seen some interesting things!
The most interesting was when she was on a beach in Mexico for a friend’s wedding. While everyone was focused on the ceremony, a UFO supposedly flew down from the sky and hovered right over the hotel!
“I noticed something hovering above the corner of the hotel,” Musgraves told NME. “In the night sky, it kind of looked like the underbelly of a bird. You couldn’t really see what it was. You know how around the outside edge of a hotel they sometimes have floodlights that point up into the sky? Whatever it was, it was being shined on by those.” She added, “We all watched it for a minute, and then it changed shape into an X-pattern, like a windmill shape. It was so weird… Then it started glowing and doing things that nothing normal would do. It was crazy.”
4. Lupe Fiasco
Lupe Fiasco was still a kid when he had an extraterrestrial experience. He was sleeping when he suddenly felt surrounded by an electrical current. He couldn’t move. After several minutes, the electricity stopped, and he saw a black disc flying outside his window. He also noticed a mysterious scar on his skin that wasn’t there the day before.
Years later, the rapper recounted the experience: “When I was 11, I definitely had an extra-worldly experience. I got a scar on the bottom of my ankle, and I don’t know where it came from. I never had surgery there; I never remember falling there… I remember waking up and just being shocked like I was surrounded by all this electricity.”
3. Kesha
Kesha believes in alien life so much that it inspired her to produce an entire album about it! Her 2017 album Rainbow came about because of her alien experience. She even has a song called “Spaceship,” She claims to have seen a bunch of UFOs hovering above her in the sky while camping in Joshua Tree National Park in California.
“I look up in the sky, and there’s a bunch of spaceships,” Kesha recounted during an appearance on the Zach Sang Show. “I swear to God, there were like five to seven, and I don’t know why I didn’t, like, try to take a picture of it. I just looked at it. I was sitting on a rock, and I was like, ‘What in the hell is that?’ I was trying to figure it out, and then they went away. And then they came back. I was like, ‘Those are f**king aliens.’ They were spaceships!”
2. Tom DeLonge
Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge has spent much of his free time researching aliens. He even put his music career on hold to devote more time to the subject. He founded the “To The Stars Academy of Arts & Sciences,” which has an entire division dedicated to the study of unidentified flying objects. All of this stems from his own alien encounters.
The most notable was a strange occurrence during a camping trip near Nevada’s Area 51. Tom woke up in the middle of the night unable to move his body. “My whole body felt like it had static electricity, and I opened my eyes, and the [campfire] is still going, and there’s a conversation going on outside the tent,” DeLonge recounted to The Hollywood Reporter. “It sounded like there were about 20 people there, talking… Then I close my eyes and wake up, and the fire is out, and I have about three hours of lost time.”
1. Goldie Hawn
Goldie Hawn was napping in a car when she woke up to a “high-pitched sound.” She looked out of the window and saw aliens! At least, that’s what she thought.
Speaking on the Time To Walk podcast, Hawn recalled: “I saw these two or three triangular-shaped heads. They were silver in color, slash for a mouth, tiny little nose, no ears. They were pointing at me in the car as if they were discussing me. And they were droning. I didn’t know if it was real or not real. And finally, I burst out of it. It was like bursting out of a forcefield.”
In the years after, Goldie decided to investigate her experience. She got in touch with an astrophysicist who interviewed her, and she started to recall more moments from that event. She called it the “most benevolent, loving feeling” she’d ever experienced, leaving her “filled with light.” In the end, she admitted on the podcast that she’ll almost certainly “never know” exactly what happened.
